ATP10 Crucible Lid (Flamefast)

A new Flamefast crucible Lid to fit the ATP10 crucible with pouring spout

THIS IS A NON STOCK ITEM AND IS ORDERED IN 2 TO 4 WEEK WAIT

If a lid is used on a crucible it has the following advantages:

• Retains the heat and heats up quicker.
• Prevents fresh oxygen contacting the metal surface and reduces slag oxides.
• Prevents inclusions dropping in if fuel is charcoal or coke (Not applicable as this is agas fired furnace)

Tongs are used for safe removal, only place down on a heat resistant dry brick.
