At Artisan Foundry we strive for a fair delivery pricing structure and to this end it is worked out by the gross weight of the order including the packaging material and your location. Please bear in mind that Highlands and Islands, European destinations and other international rates are set by the providers of the services and we can do nothing to alter them.
Therefore we have a separate carriage table for these areas.

The process on the website is automated by a system called the "Table Rate" which works out the total weight of the order plus the packing materials, then selects the appropriate band or rate from the table below prior to the customer checking out. This means you know exactly how much you will be paying for postage and carriage prior to committing to buy.
Please remember that the Carriage/Postage charge also includes a charge for the packing as well as packaging materials.

All charges are subject to change without prior notice.
Under 2kg is usually dispatched with Royal Mail
Anything over 2kg is sent via tracked courier service with insurance and we provide you with the tracking data.
When orders are dispatched we have no control over the service providers but we will endeavour to chase up late or missing packages.
Both services are 3 to 5 days but the majority of packages can arrive sooner than anticipated. Adverse weather conditions and peak shopping periods can affect delivery times.
To save on delivery we do allow private collection which can be selected at checkout. A mutual date and time is then arranged.
Packages over 182kg are usually sent via pallet * and delivery will need to be arranged in advance. Please phone for details.
Some of our packages such as superwool may be under 25kgs in actual weight but due to the volumetric size carriers charge a premium.

Please contact us if you have problems with any of our products and we will do our best to sort things out for you.
Any products in our off the shelf range can be returned if damaged or faulty. We give you a return number and will organise return carriage. However if you change your mind or goods are surplus to your requirements we will accept returns but you are responsible for the return carriage charges. Upon arrival back to us in their original packaging and unused condition we will organise a refund minus our original carriage and packing charge.
Please note - Non stock items which are made to order are non returnable and no refund will be offered. If the goods are faulty/damaged upon arrival we will restore/ repair the item to as new condition for you.
