This moulders trowel is 38mm wide with a square ended blade  and is made from tool steel

The handle is varnished and the ferrule is pressed steel

This is the ideal  moulders trowel for use in the smoothing of greensand on moulding boxes and flasks whilst in the foundry, as well as scribing sand to the pattern and flask.
