Some suppliers add an insulated sleeve to prevent heat transfer toi the central rod handle.
It depends on what supplier we get them from. If not required they can be cut off.
These are double ended tools suitable for two sizes of wax.
Chrome plated for longevity and ease of cleaning.
They are long handled for getting into deep recesses.
We Stock 1/8" (3mm), 3/16"(5mm), 1/4" (6mm and 5/16" (8mm) as standard radii.
Order wax fillet tool twice the size of the fillet. eg. 3mm wax radius needs 6mm diameter wax fillet tool
The fillet tool is heated with a spirit lamp or candle the fillet is the melted to the sides of the pattern.
The wax is flexible enough to bend around curves.

Can be applied to bare wood or coated surfaces without the use of an adhesive by using a heated fillet tool.

They allow for movement.The finish achieved is far superior to that of wet fillers which always need rubbing down.
