When filling the flask (drag and cope) this is a useful aid when completing work on the bench rather than using a shovel. If you have a curved bottomed sand storage box this is the ideal tool for the job. It is also very useful tool for the core bench. This aluminium scoop will outlast the plastic versions and is more suited to constant use.
