Available in most sizes to order contact us for details. This is suitable for a A12 or A16 crucible.

If a lid is used on a crucible it has the following advantages:

  • Retains the heat and heats up quicker.
  • Prevents fresh oxygen contacting the metal surface and reduces slag oxides.
  • Prevents inclusions dropping in if fuel is charcoal or coke

Tongs are used for removal.
